I love how this show seems casual and approachable but yet packs a punch. It opens the door on stoicism, real stoicism. Working together through the cardinal virtues. Listen to this one. It’s great.

I really enjoy listening to Practical Stoicism. As a classical studies lover, I enjoy how Tanner speaks both on the meditation part of stoicism, as well as the history of the classical world and the “behind the scenes” of the meditation. I like to listen to the show while I am walking or getting ready in the morning. A great show for anyone who needs something calm and interesting to listen to!

I just listened to Bookless, Breadless, and Threadless and I LOVE the term "Bro-icism." It cracked me up because that stuff is everywhere on IG and Twitter. So many are missing the point. Love his last sentence: "Gloating isn't stoic." Very cool.

I appreciate podcasts that deliver AND deliver quickly. That’s exactly what practical stoicism is all about! Tanner really dives in and provides you with beautiful meditations, insights and value to help you shift into a more stoic way of life. Thank you Tanner for what you do! I’ll be back around for more as a new subscriber.

Like the podcast name says, it’s practical. I love how the host gives concise lessons but also helps me understand how to apply it in my life today. So it’s not just theoretical, it really is practical.

Tanner has a great way of speaking and is very informative. The shorter length episodes really help keep my attention on such a vast subject.

I came to learn of Stoicism about two years ago, and I thought it would be way over my head to understand it. So, when I found this podcast and began listening to it I was extremely impressed by how well Tanner explains such an esoteric topic. Keep up the great work!

Really a great podcast to get you thinking- deeply. Yet, it is not pretentious or assuming, rather the show presents complex stoic and other Philosophical principles in a simple manner that applies to all of us and is easily understood. No matter where you are in life, this podcast will leave you thinking more clearly on your humanity and your role in the world around you.

This is genuinely the coolest podcast I’ve listened to in the longest time. After listening to a few episodes, I’m ready to pull out some old philosophy books. Tanner brings a curiosity to his episodes that is really engaging.

I like Tanner. He's down-to-Earth, and he asks questions that get you to think about life and beyonnd. The approach to discussing stoicism is done in a way that it's starting to make sense to me. It's practical!

Tanner’s voice is as soothing as a calm ocean as it meditates and comforts you. This show has an almost ASMR effect. It’s so calming and relaxing. Very good show. Nice and short and to the point. Keep up the good work

Very well-executed and intriguing podcast. People will sometimes associate Stoicism with men but as a woman, this podcast is very thought-provoking and interesting. As for Tanner, he is an amazing host with a very engaging way of speaking. Highly recommend this podcast.
