The 2022-2025 episodes were taken offline in January of 2026 to make space for the podcast to head in a new direction after I successfully reacquired my IP from Evergreen.
But people still want access to the old episodes, and so I've decided to make them available for download for £30.
After leaving Evergreen, and reacquiring my intellectual property, I pulled all monetisation but elective donations from the show. So the price is indicative of two things:
- It's one of the only ways I have to monetise all those years of work and
- These 309 episodes represent four years of my effort, and I believe they have monetary value
Making a living in this space is difficult. Everyone expects podcasts to be free (let alone ones about philosophy), no one likes ads, and subscription services like Netflix have normalised "everything for very cheap" pricing.
That leaves independents like me with very few options. I'm not a business man, I'm a public philosopher. By purchasing this archive you enable me to continue to do the podcast for free. If that winds up costing folks £30 every 4 years, I think it's a pretty good deal -- works out to less than £0.10/episode.
